Disasters are unavoidable environmental events which may cause loss of life, infrastructure destruction, environmental damage, and unstable economic condition. The disaster management needs to be performed to increase resilience and risk reduction for the people to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. To address this issue, The 2nd ICHMGEP raised the theme "Disaster Management for Enhancing Resilience, Risk Reduction and Sustainable Development Goals". We would like to thank the Rector of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta who has provided a financial support to organize this conference. Our special thank also goes to all invited speakers and participants from many different cities in Indonesia and overseas who have spent their time to participate and contribute articles in this conference.
