As a lecturer who has been involved in book writing, research, and contributions to reputable international journals, I feel it is important to make a significant contribution in deepening the understanding of language, especially for English teachers. This book consists of nine carefully designed chapters, covering various important aspects of linguistics. The first chapter takes the reader into the world of linguistic research by discussing the essence of language study in "Chapter I: Introduction: The Study of Language". Meanwhile, "Chapter II: What is Linguistics" explores the basic concepts of linguistics, guiding readers through the scientific foundations and relevant terminology. The following chapters, namely "Chapter III: The Study of Sounds", "Chapter IV: The Structure of Language", and "Chapter V: The Study of Meaning", thoroughly explore the aspects of phonetics, language structure, and meaning, respectively.
